Zak,

There is no cheap way you can legally operate your machine at V5R1.

The 510 is a rather expensive machine for software. It was a powerful
machine back when it was produced and is in the P30 software pricing
tier. If you wish to get legal, the most economical method would be to
restore the V4 backup you did before you upgraded. The PID program
could be an avenue, but their general offering is a discounted lease of
a new machine.

Don't even consider getting software subscription, after you pay the
currency access fee (penalty) and buy the subscription, you will have
paid tens of thousands of dollars.

I would suggest looking into the PID program or living with V4. The
first would involve getting a new machine at a discounted rate, the
second would allow you to keep the 510, which I'm sure lowers your
heating costs in the winter.

Andy Nolen-Parkhouse
