-- -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Don, not to belabor a point but there is an excellent point thats been made that America's best beat England's worst. England was fighting for her life on the Continent; Military Service in the colonies was reserved for the officers and soldiers that were unsuitable for normal duty. Also their supplies were only what was left over after the major forces were served, and their supply lines were incredibly long. "The BEST analogy I have is why Brittain lost the revolution. Clearly they had superior firepower, but they refused to adapt to the way that the indians and colonists were fighting....Brittain insisted that their troops fight out in the open fields they way that a gentleman's battle was conducted in europe. (and yes, there were other variables involved as well...)" ----------------------------------------------- Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com ----------------------------------------------- -- [ Content of type image/gif deleted ] --
