I had a perle E and it failed constantly - due to a SWB isdn line which
wouldn't stay up - so I decided to go tcp/ip so I could use our t1 which is
almost never down. I got a BOS E-Twinax Controller on trial and fell in
love. I bought it and have since pretty much forgotten it exists. It is
configurable through a browser and was easy to use and manage - It is also
software upgradable to more capacity. Too Cool. The only benefit I got was
getting away from SWB, but I hear it is faster if you have enough traffic to
make a difference. It goes through our vpn and acts just like local
devices.
