If you go into the message details (F1 on the message) are the messages
still unanswered?  If yes I would then press F9 and get the exact job to see
if there were spool files produced by this message.  If no spool files are
present then this is a different message then the programmer thought he
answered (unless of course he deleted the printouts already).
