All I see on the 400 is that it recognizes a card, auto-configs a device
(3196 in this case, based on the emulation mode selected) then the device
(session) crashes with:

Cause . . . . . :   Work station controller CTL01 detected an error in
either
  a command or data sent by device *N.

I have heard there are a number of problems with twinax cards and
the "higher speed" pc's. Some sort of clocking problem since the
ws controller expects one signal level and sees another, poooof !!!!

Your problems may be completely different, but I would look at the
job log very carefully for any funky hardware problems...

I would like to hear about twinax cards and higher speed machines
from the other folks....
