4234 Printer

We have a 4234 printer that has been in storage for a while.  It's a model 013. 
 We are starting up a new warehouse inventory app and this printer might be 
useful in the warehouse. but no one here remembers how to set it up.
Does anyone have the original customer set-up manual, or know where to find an 
on-line version?  I couldn't find one.

I think it used to be connected to a PC via a serial cable.  Does that sound 
right?   (I should probably just buy a new printer, right?)
