Bonnie,

It has the "dip switches" for the address.

And it hooks up via twin-ax. There are two port on the back. One in, one
out. The out might have a silver "terminator" screwed into it.

We are still using one of these but gave up on two others and replaced with
IBM 6408-CTA. Used but MUCH newer.

I have an EXCELLENT source that we work with and would be happy to pass
along that information if you like. I have NO affiliation with them other
than we buy from them. They sell and repair and a VERY good !

Chuck

Subject: 4234 Printer

We have a 4234 printer that has been in storage for a while. It's a model
013. We are starting up a new warehouse inventory app and this printer
might be useful in the warehouse. but no one here remembers how to set it
up.
Does anyone have the original customer set-up manual, or know where to find
an on-line version? I couldn't find one.

I think it used to be connected to a PC via a serial cable. Does that sound
right? (I should probably just buy a new printer, right?)

Bonnie
