Google works for me too. It would be nice if the info center had a useable organization to the stuff or if it had a search that worked. But it doesn't so if I need to find out about a funny SRC code like B600 F104 I use google with a "site" argument in the search argument, like this: B600 F104 site:ibm.com Try it. It works well for me. -- Charly >From: "Patrick Botz" <botz@us.ibm.com> > >I actually find "google" to be the best for searching the info >center...really. Try it. It works well for me. > > >For example: > >I recently had an occasion to use a prompt override program for a command. >I searched for over a half hour in the information center, got hundreds of >irrelevant hits, and never found the data that I was looking for, > >I walked down the hall, and got my V2R3 CL book (that was the last real >release where we published manuals), and found the prompt override program >section in 30 seconds. > >Al > >Al Barsa, Jr. >Barsa Consulting Group, LLC > "If you wanna end the war and stuff you gotta sing loud." -- Arlo Guthrie For their next act, they'll no doubt be buying a firewall running under NT, which makes about as much sense as building a prison out of meringue. -- Tanuki Charly Jones 253 265-6244 Gig Harbor Washington USA _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx
