This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Thank you. I was hoping that we could use this to get remote access to our servers. Let's say that we have all of our servers hooked up to this. Then we could use our VPN connection to access this device and control all of the servers. Are they network addressable? Some KVMs (the newer ones) are TCP addressable. Allowing the K, V & M to be far away (ie. Toronto to Austin) from the servers, but generally the switch is connected via a keyboard (K), video cable (V) and mouse cable (M) to the servers locally. Locally generally means w/in a thousand or so feet. The ones we use are from Belkin (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatSectionView.process?Section_Id=56) but there are a number of manufacturers. -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 (208) 692-3308 eFax WaldenL@TechSoftInc.com http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
