>From: rob@dekko.com [mailto:rob@dekko.com] >Do you have a link for these KVM switches? Are they network addressable? Some KVMs (the newer ones) are TCP addressable. Allowing the K, V & M to be far away (ie. Toronto to Austin) from the servers, but generally the switch is connected via a keyboard (K), video cable (V) and mouse cable (M) to the servers locally. Locally generally means w/in a thousand or so feet. The ones we use are from Belkin (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatSectionView.process?Section_Id=56) but there are a number of manufacturers. -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 (208) 692-3308 eFax WaldenL@TechSoftInc.com http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
