It would help to know more of what you print. AFP? IPDS? are you pushing the margins? is there a wcst already in place? I have several of these going as *lan printers no problem. Can't get to the config till tomorrow. We did have to adjust timeout on Jet Direct card as per ibm recommend. The Knowledge Base ASCII Printing doc says 4050 is ok for rmtoutq, pjl & snmp.
