Have you tried setting up with an IPDS DIMM as a *IPDS Printer? -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:midrange-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of William ATony Corbett Sent: Wednesday, April 03, 2002 4:58 PM To: MIDRANGE-Lmidrange com Subject: HP4050 Hi, Anyone with any words of wisdom on getting a HP4050 printing correctly? We just attached this printer to the network as a network printer and one user prints some 9x11 reports which just won't line up right. I've tried changing the printer file in all the ways I can think of and I just can't get it to work consistently. All of us have seen it, first page runs over and then you'll get a combination of blank pages and real short pages. Another problem is that it's a remote location, so I can't run back and forth from the desk to the printer to use the "try this, try that" method. If anyone has some perls of wisdom, please share TIA William A.(Tony) Corbett CBT400 - Technical Consultant IBM Certified Specialist-AS/400 Developer http://www.cbt400.com corbett@cbt400.com 770-587-4812 (no answer forwards to mobile) fax: 404-663-473 _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
