Jim,
I think you have to do a control panel func 3 to start the IPL. The catch
is, you have to be in manual mode to do the func 3. So you set it for B M
and then do the func 3, and then (while it begins its IPL process) you use
the control panel to change it back to B N. That is what you used to do
when
it was a mechanical key switch and I think that still applies to the new
control panels.
