Dave, Where are you going here? IBM has generally tried to force their partners to concentrate on customers they can help. If you're looking to implement Domino on the box, they want a partner who has demonstrated expertise in that product and who has a geographic presence in the area. Likewise with JD Edwards, eCommerce, etc. The rules are convoluted, overly complex, and more often honored in the breach rather than the observance; but they do try to force some quality-control on the BP relationships. One of the results of this which benefits us as customers, is that when our software subscription gets close to expiration, we don't get telemarketed by every IBM business partner in the country.
