Is it perhaps possible that the AS/400 (iSeries) is a victim of
Rochester's obsession with quality control and integration?  For the
other platforms the area experts probably own the implementation and
take pride in presenting their work.  On the iSeries, after they've done
their bit with DB2, WebSphere, Domino, AFP or whatever, then it needs to
get run through the iSeries team.  I can see some internal conflicts
developing there.
