Hi Craig,

Welcome to the list and the iSeries/AS400!

I noticed that no one has responded to your post yet. I have never heard of
"IBM Electronic Service Agent site". Maybe that's the Aussie version of
North America's IBM Electronic Customer Support (ECS)? We use ECS to
download PTFs, report problems to IBM, etc. If so, I know in N.A. you
normally have to use IBM for hardware service to be able to use ECS.

Or maybe it's a v5 thingy (totally unrelated to ECS), with which I have no
experience with.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Hopefully you can educate us on this.

Subject: IBM Electronic Service Agent site

Hello All,

This is my first post to this mailing list and I am a bit of an
iseries/AS400 newbie, so please forgive any ill-informed questions that I
might post. I am having some trouble accessing the IBM electronic service
agent site to finish off our service agent setup and I was wondering whether
anyone else had run into the same trouble? Also, I was wondering whether I
could get some feedback on other people's experiences with using this
service (any caveats etc?).

Thanks in advance,

Craig Smith
