NT uses WINS and 2000 uses DNS.  Get your AS400's into your DNS and WINS
servers.

Things seem to be back close to normal.  Thanks everyone for your help.
Kept adding entries to HOSTS files on various servers until everything was
working again.  Don't know why it was working before though.
