This works easily when the target source file is empty.  Things got kind of
messy otherwise.  Can't remember the details, but I believe when I tried to
automate this on a member-by-member basis, I was unable to get it to work.
Would love to see this.

It might be messy and unwieldy, but how about SAVE/RESTORE?
