Personally, I was done with paper manuals when the softcopy cd-roms came
out. I live by the softcopy. Softcopy's search function leaves a lot to be
desired, but it beats the hell out of infocenter. (Don't get me started!)

For some odd reason, the diagrams in softcopy always display zoomed about
400%.

My guess is that it's an outrageous expense to print so many books in so
many languages and then ship them to so many locations. Just a guess
though. I can't think of a single computer company who ships paper manuals
anymore.

>Plain and simple, Infocenter doesn't
>work -- give us back our manuals.

You may disagree with the route IBM have chosen but the Infocenter people
are very active listeners. If you have a suggestion, clink the 'Comment'
link at the bottom of the page (every page!) and tell them what would help
you make better use of Infocenter. Or take the feedback link (the little
pencil icon) at the top of each page.

If you don't tell them, they will never know of your discontent and can't
possibly do anything to make the situation better.
