That is a great price for fairly fast browsing and decent serving. Is your speed guaranteed? Is it consistent? Is it available everywhere? DSL seems to be trailing here in the USA. My home DSL is great until I try to send something large. I have 128k/2.0M connection and it flies most of the time but does fluctuate. Our T1 at the office is consistent all the time. Hopefully some day DSL in the USA will become as fast and reliable as in Canada. -----Original Message----- From: John Taylor [mailto:jtaylor@rpg2java.com] Sent: Tuesday, February 26, 2002 4:55 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: VPN server I did state in my first message on the subject that we have a managed service offering. This is a data grade service; meaning you get guaranteed service levels for speed and availability. All of the equipment (router->router) is supplied, monitored, and managed by the Telco. The cost works out to just over $400/mth (CAN) per location for 4Mbps downstream, 640Kbps upstream. That's approximately $250 USD. John Taylor
