While I was trying to read and record the SRC's, the system started rolling through SRC faster than I could write. Suddenly the system console responded and I was logged on. It recovered all by itself. I called IBM after printing all the logs and reported the problem. That is when I was given the PTF to apply. I came back after hours and IPL'd to apply the PTF's but the system was running just fine. Christopher K. STILL, Chris, I think your story beats even mine! You say your jobs picked up right where they left off when the system froze? How? Didn't you have to IPL and apply PTFs? You must have been able to somehow recover from this before applying PTFs? WOW.
