Yes, the speed is guaranteed, and the connection is rock solid. DSL, and
broadband in general, is widely available and affordable in the urban areas
of Canada.

I think it has much to do with the deregulated telecom market in the U.S.
You have a lot of small Telco's in the U.S., whereas we have just a few
large ones.
