Thanks that would be a great help. Does the GSKit work with V4R4? I
thought it came on V4R5 via PTF. We are currently using SSL for Telnet on
one of our three systems. I have to get this temporary connection to a SSL
web page up by the end of the month. I already have the post working to a
non-SSL page, but it is for testing only. Scott sent me the C header spec's
converted to RPGLE already. I have added them in with the necessay API
calls. Now I need to import our Verisign Certificate so the remote server
can identify us. I will need to use the DCM API to get teh certificate into
the program to make the SSL connection. Any help will be appreciated.

While I have you on the line, when will the SSH module for your Alliance FTP
Manager be available? I would be willing to beta for you.

Chris,

One additional note to those already posted: IBM has indicated to me that
the GSKit APIs are the ones to use. The older SSL APIs are not considered
strategic. We've used the GSKit APIs and they seem very solid. And you can
use DCM to generate the certificates you need. I can send you an extract
from our manual if you would like some pointers on using DCM with SSL
sockets programs.
