It might interest you to know that the magazine recently had to can a >fabulous article of the "Here's why we're up high on iSeries and doing >everything with it" type that would have made wonderful fodder for you all >to give to your non-believing CIOs. Why? Because the customer's senior >management decided that the iSeries was their competitive advantage and they >don't want their competition to know about it! Sadly this is becoming a >familiar refrain and I can't see how to get past it. Hi Jon, Could the magazine have changed the name of the company to protect the shortsited ? Could the magazine talk direct to the pgmrs and mid lvl managers in the dp dept, promise not to name names, get all the details needed for the story, then turn around, woodward and bernstein style and get the higher ups to confirm or deny the report of their great accomplishment ?
