That API will change the source information in the *SERVICE portion of an
object description.  I think Leif is referring to the source that a *MODULE
was created from when in a bound program.  This is in the *MODULE's list in
DSPPGM and cannot be changed via the QLICOBJD API.

Don't have access to your book, but you can use API's to change the
object source information. The iseries-toolkit
(http://iseries-toolkit.sourceforge.net)
includes a chgobj command that allows you to change the service
information for an object.
