I am able to ping the IP address from home. I gives me an invalid parameter
if I try and specify the port, but just the IP I have no problem pinging
it. We do have a router and firewall and I was concerned that they may
prevent me from getting through. But there should be some way around this
with security isn't there.

We have a citrix server which will probably be what the other division will
be using to sign on and use the software to analyze the data all the
divisions will be sending here. So they could send the data when they are
connected on here but I was hopeing that they could set up a procedure to
automatically update there data daily/weekly regardless of whether they are
signing in to use it.

Angela,

I believe that error is a timeout. Can you ping the FTP Server? You may
have an issue with a firewall or router that is preventing you from reaching
it from outside your local network.
