I know this has been asked before, but I could not find if it was every
answered. I got the email below and wanted to know if there is a list for
Mean Time Between Failure for the IBM AS400? And I do not think it is luck
that has kept them from having down time, but would like some data to back
it up. I also know it would be hard to come up with a number since the more
features you have the more that can break, so even a list of Mean Time
Between Failure for the components would help.

Thanks
John Ross

We have an IBM AS400 - 730 and 720. Luckily for us, our 2 systems have had
0 down time in many years.
Are you aware of the MTBF for all AS400 Models and maybe other Manufactures
of Midrange Systems like the
HP, SUN, etc............ ??????????
