Adam, Brooks Internet Software http://www.as400tcpipprinting.com/index.html (with which I have no affiliation) has a remote printing solution called RPM which is based on the standard LDP/LPR protocols. About $300 for Win2K version. It receives spool files from an AS/400 via a remote output queue and can print on a LAN PC or save to a PC file. Many features, free trial ... I liked it. -Dave K. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adam Lang" <aalang@rutgersinsurance.com> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Monday, January 07, 2002 4:55 PM Subject: Pulling spool files off AS/400 - VB? > I checked the archive, but I didn't see what I was looking for. > > I know you can use Operations Navigator to open a print queue and pull spool > files off and you can save them as text files on a pc. > > When playing with the VB tool kit, I didn't manage to see a way to do this > through code.
