They are "many" 18cpw or less installed and you would be surprised at what they are capable of doing. I suspect the lower end 170's far outnumber almost all other machines. A 9402-400(first risc) is perfectly capable of running 50 terminals, 2-3 remote sites and any number of printers without breaking a major sweat. I know that "more" is better, but not always.
