Joe, I am not upset, just frustrated to see a large thread about etiquette especially when David send out a monthly protocol reminder. I think the bandwidth problem should not even be an issue as e-mail is just a small piece of what travels over the wire these days. Also, I would imagine that most everyone who posts does research and experiment prior to posting. As far as IBM goes I would first rather turn to my peers then. IBM. By the way do you know what support for a P40 costs :) Kyle -----Original Message----- Please don't get upset when questions go unanswered. Rather than clog up the bandwidth with a bunch of "I don't know" answers, those who don't know don't post... ... In any event, remember that the interaction on this list is entirely voluntary. Nobody gets paid for answering these questions, and if you asked either a consultant or IBM services to give you the same answers, I suspect you'd pay a pretty good chunk of change. So if one of your questions goes unanswered, it's not bad etiquette, it just means we don't know. At that point it may be time to either experiment a little yourself, or do some digging, or pay for some support. Joe
