Just a short note to thank everyone for thier effort in cleaning up the quoted replys. Already, I've seen a VERY marked increase in the efficiency of our collective posts! I assume the list server collects posts until a certain size is achieved before it shoots off a digest. Before this discussion, a typical digest would contain less than 10 posts. Now, it is somewhere between 15 and 20. I love these groups, and they have indeed saved my bacon on inumerous occasions. I try to post my own help as often as I can (usually, by the time I read a question, it's already been answered by several of you). just the other day, I learned a new way of building arrays over file fields that has been bothering me for years (ever since the advent of the 'D' spec). Once again, thank you for the resource, and thanks to david, et al for putting up with us geeks for so long. Regards, Rick
