> Whether the iNation could be useful in getting "the > paradigm we need to get these numbskulls back to" out where it catches the > public's radar...? There was a discussion some time before iNation got formed with respect to what could be done to persuade IBM to improve their marketing, and you know a lot of what I have seen in recent months in my opinion is a vast improvement over what came before that discussion began. There will be people who think it needs further improvement. Now related to that were the discussions on what responsibilities the grand collection of users had to make sure our reality does not evaporate & there were all sorts of suggestions ... I would hope that those archives, if they have not been erased, could be cut/pasted by someone into some kind of a FAQ ... the WHAT would we like to accomplish & WHY, the various ideas people had proposed, pros & cons of each ot those ideas. Now I personally am a Jack of many trades, not a Master of many. My whole career has been working for companies where one guy could almost do everything that needed to be done in the IT department ... programming, operations, security, configuration, user hand holding. I am not greatly gifted in any one department, merely competent. Many people on these lists appear to me to be giants in many of these departments, compared to me. We need to try to help out where we can. MacWheel99@aol.com (Alister Wm Macintyre) (Al Mac)
