Walden, One would think it'd force an abend. Don't think IBM will change that, because it would rupture too much existing code. I would also think that change would cause an abend, but haven't tried changing IBM severity levels. Would be nice if shops are allowed that kind of flexibility. jt | -----Original Message----- | From: email@example.com | [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org]On Behalf Of Walden H. Shouldn't that message result in an abnormal end? | | -Walden | | PS. I assume changing message id CPF3773 to a severity > 20 would | result in | an abnormal end, no? | | | ------------ | Walden H Leverich III | President | Tech Software | (516)627-3800 x11 | WaldenL@TechSoftInc.com | http://www.TechSoftInc.com | | _______________________________________________ | This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) | mailing list | To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com | To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, | visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l | or email: MIDRANGE-Lfirstname.lastname@example.org | Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives | at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. |
