Of course, there -are- those software vendors who have (a) a unique product for the AS/400, and (b) haven't quite figured out that their install procedure has GOT to be bullet proof! *sigh* I've loaded one application several times, and (until very recently) have had to call their technical support line to have the errors untangled. It's gotten so that we schedule the install for prime time on a weekday to make sure we can get help! It -is- great for keeping weekends free! re: LODRUN: After we install a package, we go back and realign the security as-installed to match our own plan.
