I knew that I had seen this before! It took me a bit of surfing to find it, but here it is: SLIC Systems has an open source project: http://www.slic-systems.com/CDBuild.htm >From their on-line text: V3.0 BETA now includes support for saving to save files thus allowing CD's to be created without using a tape drive. Cd images can also be created in the IFS, allowing easier copying to the PC and better file name support.Taget release can be specified on the cd commands and now saves LODRUN correctly at that release. Hope this helps, Chuck ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Gibbs" <david@midrange.com> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Saturday, December 08, 2001 9:53 AM Subject: CD Burning software? > Folks: > > Does anyone know if there is any AS400 CD Burning software that does not > require a tape drive to operate? > > Thanks! > > david > -- > | Internet: david@midrange.com > | WWW: http://david.fallingrock.net > | > | Justice ... not vengeance > > _______________________________________________ > This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l > or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. > >
