And on this vein, I am aware of a company that wanted to go to the I-series
during a hardware upgrade, but IBM was unable to tell of any success stories
ref. migrating from Unix/Oracle to OS400/DB2. The CFO wisely chose to stay
with Unix.

Jan,

I think there are over 1,000 companies live on SAP R/3 on iSeries. I've
also heard a rumor that the world's largest R/3 implementation is underway
on iSeries. There is a mailing list on Yahoo Groups
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SAPoniSeries/) dedicated to technical
discussion about running R/3 on the iSeries. IBM has information at
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/service/erp/support.htm. There
is redbook Implementing SAP R/3 on OS/400 (SG24-4672-03). You can also
e-mail IBM at erp400@us.ibm.com for information on SAP R/3 on the iSeries.

Regards,
Stan
