> Kevin Mohondro: >The page range exit program, TSPRWPR? Yup, it works perfectly for us. There is an upper limit on what TSPRWPR can handle. Typically it isn't a problem because folks use it with smaller printers. For years TSPRWPR has worked well with our older HP LaserJets with more primitive JetDirect adapters. We started using it with LPR to send spool files to an NT-based forms package for our larger data center laser printers. We found that TSPRWPR truncates files if you specify a range somewhere beyond the 2000th page. It can't be predicted precisely because the limit is based on file content, not number of pages. I ended up setting up a daemon process triggered off an output queue's data queue. The daemon uses the TAATOOLS page range program to create a truncated spool file for the range before sending it to the printer via LPD. -Jim James P.
