Have you looked at SC41-5445-00 BSC Link Programming ????

The Series/1 is not mentioned but a very complete example is in the
back of the manual on "how to do it" in 3 different languages when
going from AS/400 to AS/400 which should give you enough to get started.

RJE will be of NO value in this case... You will need a "Host" &
"remote"
program running on both machines... COBOL,RPG,C are the example
programs.

There is a Series/1 manual GA34-0312 that contains information needed to
communicate with the AS/400.....
