Have you used the FTP server on the AS/400 to get the data? I've found the help for FTP that is built into the AS/400 FTP commands to be remarkably clear and complete. From a command line, enter "FTP" then use the F1 key to read about NAMEFMT and other such goodies. --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@MartinVT.com --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: midrange-l@midrange.com Date: Tuesday, November 27, 2001 04:00:47 PM To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' Subject: RE: Problem with FTP This message is in MIME format. BTW, If I FTP from one PC to another, it will PUT the data OK. -----Original Message----- From: Shannon O'Donnell [mailto:orion@auburnctnet.com] Sent: Tuesday, November 27, 2001 2:55 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Problem with FTP Sounds like you need to tell the PC FTP server that the user profile you are connecting to it with should have write access to that directory/drive. Not familiar with your particular FTP product, but usually there's a configuration file you can access to control settings such as these. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charlie Browne" <crbrowne@cssconsulting.com> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Tuesday, November 27, 2001 2:05 PM Subject: Problem with FTP > This message is in MIME format.
