We have several clients using the Linx Data Terminals with their AS/400
direct connect option, and they are very happy with that setup. Many use
the Optimum Solutions T&A software. Optimum is a reseller for Linx. Linx
markets their terminals through resellers in your area. You can find info
on their website www.linxdata.com. They also run ads in the midrange pubs.
I think you can find Optimum at www.optimumsolutions.com.

I see you've already gotten info on the Kronos package, which is a good one
also, but you need to take a look at the Linx solution. I know of several
companies that looked at both and chose Linx.

Hi all,

Just wondering if there is anyone out there running a Time and Attendance
System (Using a Swipe Card system) that feeds directly to an AS/400, that
they can recommend.. Consultants at our company want to add a Time and
attendance system and change our Payroll system to a Windows Server
environment. I would rather see something that runs on our current AS/400
but have no knowledge of this area to try to convince them...

Keith
