Good News Everybody!

A new search engine is coming soon.

As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Frontpage is to be avoided. It creates "dirty" HTML that only MS products
understand.

Macromedia's Dreamweaver is the high end market leader in WYSIWIG editors,
but there are a lot of fine one's out there.

For WYSIWIG design, FP2000 is still pretty good. But once you have a couple
of base template designs done I find it's actually faster to just edit the
HTML in something like Homesite. The fact that you're in the iSeries
environment shouldn't matter.

I'd appreciate a quick note from anybody willing to share a highly positive
(nice wizards, templates, formats, etc.) or highly negative (it sucks)
experience with a specific HTML design tool in the iBox environment. I'm
trying to decide if I should press the Osama button on FrontPage 2000 (okay,
you had to ask...it will go to the Laden Bin).

The RPG code is the easy part of doing an HTML/CGI application. In
green-screen, a boring screen is a good screen. With HTML, a boring screen
is really bad...

Regards,
Reeve
