Frontpage is to be avoided. It creates "dirty" HTML that only MS products understand. Macromedia's Dreamweaver is the high end market leader in WYSIWIG editors, but there are a lot of fine one's out there. -----Original Message----- From: Walden H. For WYSIWIG design, FP2000 is still pretty good. But once you have a couple of base template designs done I find it's actually faster to just edit the HTML in something like Homesite. The fact that you're in the iSeries environment shouldn't matter. -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516)627-3800 x11 WaldenL@TechSoftInc.com http://www.TechSoftInc.com -----Original Message----- From: Reeve Fritchman [mailto:reeve@ltl400.com] Sent: Tuesday, November 20, 2001 5:07 PM To: Midrange-L@Midrange. Com Subject: HTML design tools for the iSeries: which ones work well? I'd appreciate a quick note from anybody willing to share a highly positive (nice wizards, templates, formats, etc.) or highly negative (it sucks) experience with a specific HTML design tool in the iBox environment. I'm trying to decide if I should press the Osama button on FrontPage 2000 (okay, you had to ask...it will go to the Laden Bin). The RPG code is the easy part of doing an HTML/CGI application. In green-screen, a boring screen is a good screen. With HTML, a boring screen is really bad...
