Numerous ideas, but further info can narrow it down. 1) What version of OS/400 on the two systems? 2) What is meant by "file is locked"? I.e., are you seeing specific error messages and where do you see them? Heh, and of course, what message IDs? 3) Is this consistent or sporadic?
