This is a good starting point to  drill into reference materials.

I  tend  not to agree on the eConfigurator as an LPAR
tool.   LparValidationTool.LVT  is  only for  brand new systems[8xx/270]
not upgrades or migrations. The configurator has lots of  other concerns
and not wanting to write novel here - that's it - it  does normal
configurations stuff without  regard for  LPAR [f/c 140].
