Bob, In CAS, under Reports, you can run option 1. Application Log, and one of the options is to clear the file. Unfortunately, you need dedicated mode to do this. I believe you can just clear the file if you want, but I wouldn't delete it. I've cross-posted this to mapics-l@midrange.com. Maybe someone there will know whether or not you can just clear the file. Can the "APPLOG" file be cleared or deleted? I just noticed that mine is pretty large, too. I'm going to do the RTVDSKINF tonight, but the DSPOBJD did find the offending file (the 12G APPLOG file). Now that I know about the DISKTASKS options, I will be using these to monitor things going forward so I don't end up in the position I'm in now. _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
