Bob,

In CAS, under Reports, you can run option 1. Application
Log, and one of the options is to clear the file.
Unfortunately, you need dedicated mode to do this.

I believe you can just clear the file if you want, but
I wouldn't delete it.

I've cross-posted this to mapics-l@midrange.com. Maybe
someone there will know whether or not you can just
clear the file.

Can the "APPLOG" file be cleared or deleted?
I just noticed that mine is pretty large, too.


I'm going to do the RTVDSKINF tonight, but the DSPOBJD did find
the offending file (the 12G APPLOG file). Now that I know about
the DISKTASKS options, I will be using these to monitor things
going forward so I don't end up in the position I'm in now.
