Does you original PRTF specify font or page margins that may be different in the copied SPLF. Have you compared the spool file attributes to see if there are differences? Use WRKSPLFA OUTPUT(*PRINT) on both splfs and compare the reports. Agreed, I could add another print file to the program but, we have some spool archive software which works best on normal (SCS) spools hence my desire to keep a 'normal' version. Comparing the 2 spools, they are pretty much identical. It must be something hidden away which I am missing.
