Hi everybody, can any one of you shed some light into this problem? Our AS/400 (iSeries...) is running V4R5 and latest Cum, and we are using CA Express (V4R5 also) and latest Service Pack. Everything is running OK. We only have just this one AS/400. NetServer and all other servers we need are up and running fine. Today I started configuring "Management Central" under Op'sNav. It's been a nightmare! There is no way to make it work, but even getting the following joblog was a nightmare itself, since job QYPSSRV aborts but does not volunteer to leave any joblog... Just by changing its attributes before it started work (in JOBQ QSYS/QSYSNOMAX) I was able to capture what follows. I've cut part of the joblog, but in essence what it says is it gets an "ERROR OCCURED DURING RETRIEVAL OF LOCAL IP ADDRESS"... Further down there was a second message saying quite the same thing about the Subnet mask... How come an AS/400 which is working fine for everything else cannot get its own IP address and Subnet mask? Does that make any sense?
