Probably these are Oracle databases running on a guest operating system
(Linux). That works great in my testing environment at home.

Subject: Oracle on an AS/400? Huh?

OK, the latest issue of smart partner just hit my desk. On page 10 there's
a
case study on Sanford Corp (Papermate, Parker, Waterman, etc.) called Great
Ink.com In this article there's a statement that says "Several AS/400s
running Oracle databases contained Sanford's product..." HUH? Did I miss
something or are these guys full of sh*t. I doubt it's a typo since later
in
the article they also say "...back-end connections between Dynamo and
Oracle
to retrieve...isolated databases scattered throughout its system of
AS/400s."

Any ideas?
