Bought it used from a business partner (not Sirius). It was still new
enough that it was under warranty for another year. Then it was to go
on IBM maintenance. As my original post said:

I didn't _have_ to get a business partner involved. I did for the
following reason (also in my original post):

The reasons I chose this business partner are:
1) Sales rep is an ex IBM employee of 20+ years. (Left IBM
because of the pension plan fiasco).
2) His experience at IBM was as both an SE and a sales rep.
3) I have known him these 20+ years and he is a straight shooter,
which I demand.
