D) None of the above.

It simply saves main storage or using CPM keeps main storage state and kills
the box.  If it successfully saved main storage then LIC will consider the
next IPL normal however OS/400 never considers the IPL normal.  To perform a
clean shutdown you must install or write a UPS monitoring program.

It used to be documented in the Backup and Recovery Guide but they moved it
to the Information Centre.
