No, for one reason or another, the customer has mandated that only TCP/IP
connections are allowed on their network. We previously used the Netsoft
router and DLC protocol to connect, but they claimed that the DLC
connection
would not work half the time. They are a multinational company(a part of
U.P.S.), with a rather complicated network, with hubs, switches, and
routers
everywhere. Even though the PC is in the same building as the AS/400, it
may
not be on the same physical network.
